Hello and welcome back to Maxwell The Robot's website! We are spinning up for our second and final semester of this project, and wanted to provide you some updates.
So Max - you might ask - what is planned for the second semester? What are your goals here? Well, let me tell you.
This semester our focus lies on hardware assembly, test, and integration. Whereas in the previous semester most of the work and emphasis was placed on software, web support, and theoretical development, this semester we are putting it all together.
Starting this week, Bill of Materials are being created by each member of the team. Focuses include sound sensors, servo's, motors, LED arrays, and software/hardware integration. And speaking of team members...
We are pleased to announce the most recent member of the Maxwell team: John Berkebile. John is going to focus on integration of our multiple systems with his expertise in embedded systems. John recently got back from his internship at the Mayo Clinic and intends to develop medical devices after graduate school! For more on John, visit the bios section on our home page.
