MAXWELL THE ROBOT

We are creating Maxwell the Robot to be a new face in Broun Hall. Maxwell will act as a robotic help desk, safety center, and secretary for the Electrical and Computer Engineering Building, allowing students, staff, and visitors to interact whenever they choose.

Maxwell is being developed with help from the Department of Electrical And Computer Engineering, and with advice and help from Auburn University Campus Safety.

WHAT MAXWELL CAN DO

Maxwell The Robot is here to safely monitor Broun hall from dangerous events, to point people in the right direction, and to answer questions among the many things within our database!

A ROBOT HELPER

Need help finding that teacher? Can't figure out where the Elusive Dr. Riggs is? No fear! Maxwell is here to help. With an integrated touch screen, simply ask Maxwell to show you where to go!

SAFETY

We want everyone to feel safe on campus, and that is why Maxwell will be equipped with multiple safety systems! No need to fear that robot invasion, Maxwell has threshold sound sensors, connections to Campus Safety, and a Blue Light for when you are in trouble.

A CAMPUS FACT FINDER

Curious how many people can fit in the Stadium? What about how many oreo's? Or maybe you just need to know what day it is.
No worries, Maxwell is here to help. With a database of frequent questions, ask away!
